All Presenters (Oral, Virtual, Poster, Innovations) shall submit their abstract through the SciCOSH2020 Conference Management System ( Please take note to be able to use this system, the author must have an active Easychair account ( The Authors are required to perform the abstract submission before 18th September 2020. The instructions on registering and submission of abstract/paper/poster on EasyChair can be found via this link

All abstracts will be reviewed by SciCOSH2020 Scientific Committee and will be notified on the abstract acceptance no later than 30th September 2020. The committee Upon receiving abstract acceptance by the Scientific Committees, the author may complete the registration and payment process, arranging the travel and preparing full papers.

All full papers will be reviewed by the Guest Editors and Invited Reviewers. Accepted abstracts will be compiled into a Program and Abstracts Book of SciCOSH2020. There will be no dedicated Proceedings of SciCOSH2020 for full papers. Instead, authors of all accepted submissions (full papers) will be invited / recommended to submit their full papers as journal manuscripts to the Journal of Occupational Safety and Health (JOSH) and our partner journals. Submission of full papers should be performed no later than1st November 2020. Please note that full papers must be original and are not / have not been published elsewhere. Peer review and Editorial decision by the respective Journals apply. Selection of recommended full papers will be done by Chairs and Scientific Committee of SciCOSH2020. If your abstract is selected for oral presentation, please note that contributed oral presentations are 15 minutes long, including 5 minutes for questions and discussion. The paper must be presented by one of the author or co-authors. (1 registration for 1 paper). Oral presentations are to be made either using your laptop or the PC that will be available in the session room (Windows system + Power point). Please come to the session room with your laptop or pen drive having your presentation file. There will be a volunteer on hand to assist in starting each presentation. If you take the virtual presentation option, a test run will be conducted by the organizing committee in close proximity to the Conference. The participant will be given guidelines on how to connect during the Conference and present.  After the Presentation and Conference Conclusion, you will receive a soft copy of the Conference, Certificate of Presentation, and Proceedings. Your conference documents will be sent to your address after the conference. PLEASE INFORM SECRETARIATE IF YOU INTEND TO REGISTER FOR VIRTUAL ORAL PRESENTATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE DUE TO LIMITED AVAILABILITY.



If your paper is selected for poster presentation, whether by selection or own preference, please note that the poster will be presented in a digital platform. The presenter will be assigned a 10 minutes presentation slot during which the presenter will present the poster using an assigned touch screen monitor. The digital posters will continue being projected at all time during the conference.  One of the paper author or co-authors must be present and available for discussion during the poster presentation session. Please submit your digital poster to the Secretariat 7 days before the conference day.


When creating your digital poster, please follow these guidelines:
1.    The digital poster must be on PDF format.
2.    The digital poster must follow the designated format given by the secretariat by email  
3.    The digital posters must be submitted in portrait orientation.
4.    Font - Calibri, Verdana, Times New Roman and Arial are recommended
5.    Font size – 48-80pt for Titles/Headings and 20-28pt for text blocks are recommended.
6.    Language – the digital poster should be prepared in English.
7.    The digital poster must not be more than 100MB size.



It is recommended that the innovation (in physical form, whether final products, model) to be brought to the conference and be demonstrated. If this is not possible, other method of presentation such as posters, videos may be used.
